Kevin P. Clarke

About

Kevin specialized in furniture and cabinetry made form salvaged urban hardwoods that they sourced and milled from ethical sources, often saving trees with exquisite character, and commercially unavailable, from the chipper. Kevin hired woodworkers from CCA’s furniture program, graduates of College of the Redwoods furniture program, and other craftspersons to execute large-scale projects and one-off pieces, to ensure that every detail was thoughtfully considered and perfected.

Furniture

From their shop in Alameda, Kevin could make anything, from a single boardroom table to 40 custom desks for a new business. Every project was scalable and usually deliverable in one to three weeks from the start.

Cabinetry

Kitchen, bathroom, closet and retail, Kevin could have made it for you. Fast turn-around times, nontoxic-finishes and formaldehyde-free plywoods for boxes and beautiful, local, Bay Area woods and beyond were available.

Design Services

If you wanted a unique piece of furniture but needed help figuring out what style and form it should have taken, Kevin could have worked with you to look at the types of art, architecture and materials that mattered to you to create a unique object that complimented the space it would have been a part of.

Architectural Details and millwork

Site-specific sculptural wood surfaces, wall art, wide plank flooring, mantles, floating shelves, solid wood shelving and entry doors were all produceable with commercially available domestic woods, or locally sourced material.
